Frequently Asked Questions About CAD Design

I have an idea/design I wish to pursue, what is the next stage?

If you have any sketches, I can work from those, alternatively we can arrange a meeting, from there I can get an understanding of the direction we need to go in.

Typically, how long does it take to produce a design?

Every design is unique, something simple could just take couple of hours, but I can give approx. estimate once I know little more about the design.

How much will it cost?

Again, each design is different, so it depends on the design, how its constructed and how complex needs to be, I offer my service at an hourly rate, these points can be discussed at the start of the project.

Do you know where I can get my design made?

Yes, I have a strong reputation within many industries I have worked in and communicate regularly with manufacturers as well as suppliers. These contacts are available for me to call upon for clarification or advice should it be required.

Do you convert existing drawings?

Yes, if you have something like Pdf/scanned drawing for example or even an old file types I can convert those into update usable drawing format.

(see Cad Conversion under services)

I have quite a lot of drawings to convert, is that something you able to do?

Yes, whether it’s a single or multiple drawings I’m able to produce them.

What Is a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA)?

A non-disclosure agreement is a legally binding contract that establishes a confidential relationship. The party or parties signing the agreement agree that sensitive information they may obtain will not be made available to any others.
